Conceived in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Fifteen Vaults profoundly resonates with a time when countless families faced loss. This photo book is as minimalistic as it is moving.

Writer, Le Monde

Brandon Tauszik’s latest series delves into familial alienation and the epidemic of loneliness. Poignant and thought-provoking, Fifteen Vaults is a compelling study, not only of the complexity of families – but their strength and beauty too.

– Olivia Hingley

Writer, It's Nice That

The artist's black and white photos are stripped of the flourishes that color can bring, instinctively refocusing the photographic reading on the essential. Like Pandora's boxes, the wooden chests open and reveal a flood of memories to share and pass on.

– Lucie Guillet

Writer, Fisheye Magazine

Fifteen Vaults is an impressive view and experience of death, loss, and what remains in our contemporary culture. With a variation in full-bleed spreads, detailed images, and small fold-out narratives, the monograph requires us to dig through the images as Tauszik dug through the vaults.
