SURFACE TENSION / THESE DAYS / CALLE WINSTON
Four years ago I started photographing a group of Toy District shopkeepers. Somewhere along the way, they became some of my closest friends.
What started as a photography project slowly became something else. Over the years I became part of the workdays, birthdays, anniversaries, and countless nights singing karaoke on Winston Street after the stores closed.
These photographs are the first look at a body of work I've been making quietly since 2022. The project will be shown publicly for the first time as part of Surface Tension at These Days Gallery, opening Saturday, July 11.
