CALLE WINSTON
Four years ago, Brandon Tauszik began spending time with a group of Toy District shopkeepers in Downtown Los Angeles, just a few blocks from where he lives. The photographs began almost as an afterthought. Over the years, the work has grown alongside friendships formed through workdays, birthdays, anniversaries, and countless nights singing karaoke on Winston Street after the stores closed. The project remains ongoing, continuing to follow the people and places that have shaped it.
